Since its foundation, the GenoaCLF has adopted a supranational perspective, promoting the study and research of commercial law at the European and international levels and engaging with foreign universities, organisations and authorities.

In particular, the Centre is part of the university network of the European Supervisory Authorities and, through its individual members, collaborates with the European Banking Institute.
